For the second time, Emperador Brandy received the prestigious Reader's Digest Trusted Brands, a region-wide survey conducted in seven markets—Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Tailand, Malaysia, Singapore and India—where brands ranging from luxury goods to everyday necessities are ranked by consumers based on quality, value, trustworthiness, strong image and understanding of customer needs.

Formerly called Reader's Digest Super Brands since its inception seven years ago, the survey now puts brand integrity at the forefront by focusing on trust. Thus, the survey was renamed the "Reader's Digest Trusted Brands."

For Emperador Brandy, winning this award, not only once but twice, clearly proves that it has gained the vote of confidence of Asia's consumers, a feat no other local brand in its category could claim. Under the alcoholic beverages category, Emperador Brandy shares the title of Most Trusted Brands with foreign brands, Johnnie Walker and Fundador. And it's no wonder. The prestigious Reader’s Digest through its SuperBrands consumer survey has named Emperador Brandy as a GOLD Superbrand for the Cognac/Whiskey/Other Spirits category in the Philippines for 2004. It is the first Filipino brand to enter in the Luxury Goods category proving it equal among the world’s best brands! Together with Nielsen Media Research, Readers Digest was able to survey 6,000 consumers from all over Asia and Emperador was one of the brands to be recognized by discriminating Filipino consumers.
